Recent purchase o' mine. At this price point, it's all about adding a little flair to a room with a product that must've cost a few dollars to mass-produce, which is not necessarily bad assuming the sacrifices in natural materials and hand-crafted artistry do not bother you. This is machine-made using synthetic dyes and materials. The olefin, low grade wool, or the petroleum-based back layer produce a noticeable smell that, thankfully, I found weak and tolerable. Your sensitivities, of course, may vary. Regardinq the olefin, which constitutes half the material used, the Wiki says the following:'Olefin's advantages are its strength, colourfastness and comfort, its resistance to staining, mildew, abrasion, sunlight and its good bulk and cover.'So far, so true. There is no color bleed. The pattern is tight and each shape is sharply delineated. And it is amazingly soft because the olefin does not give easily to weight. There is nothing complex about the geometric design - done in a faux Persianstyle - which is one of the many factors that help keep the price ridiculously low.The fibers are packed in there. I don't know what the KPI. It doesn't matter. There is nothing remotely artisan about it but it's still a fine product that will add a little color and comfort to any room. Definitely recommend if you can get past and can physically tolerate all the chemicals employed.I cannot believe that a rug this nice was so cheap. It came sooner than expected and looks great under my dining room table! After I got it down on the floor after unrolling it, the part that was rolled up the smallest had a hard time staying down, but after a few days it flattened itself out. It is SO soft to walk on and has held up very well after being introduced to several small children and two young cats. We have received tons of compliments about the new look of our room because of this rug. The color and design are exactly what's shown in the picture. Not a cheap imitation. Love it.We purchased this carpet after going through the hundreds available online on Amazon. We love the carpet..it arrived fast and was in a good packaging, convenient to unpack. The carpet color matches the photo. There was a very tiny bit of smell which went off in a couple do days. The edges took 2-3 days to flatten completely ( we kept booksetc on the edges to flatten them). The carpet feels very nice and soft to walk on. However, when our boys are running around on the carpet sometimes it slips. We didn't expect a carpet this size to need anti-slip pad. But would be better to have it.We got a lot of compliments for it!! Would definitely recommend this buy. This rug is stain resistant and the neutral colors blend well. The price is unbeatable and the rug itself appears sturdy and well made. I did not need a pad for the rug (even though the underside is somewhat rough, but not like cheap plastic rugs). I placed it in my living room and have received lots of compliments as it gives the room a richer and homier look. The pictures doesn't capture its more expensive look. I plan to buy another similar rug for my bedroom. I recommend it for its quality and value at such a bargain price. These are incredibly high quality for the price. I have 4 dogs and I have several expensive hand knotted and antique rugs. After getting this rug I will be moving the expensive rugs to rooms we do not use and replace them with these.Don't let the price fool you. They are a higher quality than you can find anywhere, the big box stores, Tuesday Morning, etc. They are all higher in price and the quality is not as even close. When vacuuming you do not have to worry about pulling up the wool like I do on my expensive rugs. I am so happy I purchased these rugs.I've bought 3 rugs from Amazon this month, and this one was by far the easiest to get flat, despite it's large size. It looks absolutely beautiful, and is so dense that I can sweep it as effectively as tile. When my dog marked on it (because "Hey! That's new!"), it was power shampooed and came out looking as new as ever. Very happy with purchase, and am fielding requested from my family for the rose colored one to be ordered too.I love the rug design and it looks great in my room. But it arrived extremely tightly rolled up and the bumps have still not flattened out, despite my placing items on top of it for the past three weeks. I'm going to take it out and lay it over my table for a few weeks while I'm away on a trip. Hopefully that will help it flatten out...Great subtle color combination, originally bought for TV room in basement expecting it to look cheap/tacky for the price. Put in family room upstairs instead; very pleasantly surprised. Our dog has a gel bed and prefers to sleep on this rug instead.
